If you need to play on Drizzle when starting out, that's fine, as it's a particularly hard game. While learning the game I recommend playing solo and unlocking as many characters and items as you can that way. Core issues are still there, and it takes away loot trading for teams that do know how to do teamwork. So to summarize it better, in both situations player a either infringes on player b's looting so he can get more of his own, or waits on player b and watches the difficulty timer tick up. At this point he can either start the teleporter to spawn in new chests and make player b forfeit his loot, or wait entirely on player b. Player a can still loot 15 chests within the time it would take player b to loot 5, so he would be done looting the 10 chests around the 3 chest mark for player b. This is a scenario we generally don't like, and I'm not gonna pretend it's perfect either.īuut let's compare it to scenario b with the same players, except now there's half as many chests for 2 players, and they both get the loot from them. Player a can either wait for player b to finish looting the other 5 chests, or loot them for himself and move on. Player a can loot 15 chests in the time it takes player b to loot 5 chests. Take scenario a, which is how the game works currently. It would make more sense if when a player opens loot is spawns a copy for all players, you could balance this by reducing the amount of chests in preportion to the loot, eg 4 times more loot on the may so 4 times less box's.I've talked about this some before, and ultimately believe it won't fix anything and would possibly even make things worse. If you die you won't get loot while who is alive will, next round is even harder so now its a downward cycle. Instead if someone isn't paying attention they can just steal all the boss loot. The game in multiplayer doesn't have any system to promote teamwork. Originally posted by OmegaFreak01:I agree. Singeplayer the game is a fun loot rng fest, sometimes you're unlucky, sometimes you have god runs. Multiplayer is also fun but you need to fight against the game mechanics to actually balance the team, carefully picking up loot and leaving behind drops for the weaker player while somehow convincing others to do the same. The game really shines in single player, that's why its highly rated.
